Not many can say they are "living their best life" in 2020, but Garrett Gerloff most certainly is. The Texan ended up 11th in his debut season of World Superbike racing, scoring three podiums near the end of the season - including a second-place finish in Portugal. If that wasn't enough, Gerloff got the call to go ride Valentino Rossi's Yamaha M1 for a day at the Valencia circuit in Spain when Rossi tested positive for COVID-19. And he made the best of that with an impressive outing in the rain in the first session and an even more impressive outing on a drying track in the afternoon session. Although he didn't get to race, everybody in the MotoGP paddock now knows who Garrett Gerloff is and that could pay dividends in the years to come.
