Deuteronomy 27: The Valley of Cursing and Blessing | In a stroke of genius, Moses instructs that the people will enter the land by passing through the valley in between Mount Ebal and Mount Gerazim, with the priests on Mount Ebal shouting the blessings of obedience, while the priests on Mount Gerazim woudl shout out the curses of disobeying.
