We're back this week to (belatedly) celebrate Halloween with some of our favorite scary songs.
This week Aaron and Chris are spinning some of their favorite Scary Songs. The criteria was loose in some cases as some of these songs sound scary, some are by scary artists, and others are about scary subject matter. Best known as one of the founding members of legendary Canadian band Killer Dwarfs, Russ has seen it all in the music business and gives the Decibel Geek Podcast a taste of his extensive experiences. In this in-depth discussion you’ll hear Russ’ recollections on such interesting moments as when Killer Dwarfs were sharing the same studio as KISS, the influence of Alice Cooper on Russ’ performance, opening for Iron Maiden with a buck naked drummer and why a healthy sense of humor can get you through some of the muck that you have to endure in the music industry. Russ also shares his views on youtube, downloading, and what he thinks of the current generation of bands in comparison to the scene of the 1980’s.
