A.J. Andrews turns her attention to the Blue Jays' pitching during the series with the Rangers and how Tuesday's 3-0 shutout was exactly the formula that the Jays had drawn up. Wilmer Font may be pitching himself into a 2020 role with the club, and Andrews posits how he can help settle the young starters.
The host also discusses Brock Stewart's 5 1/3 inning effort in the Friday victory and what that means for the Jays' fifth slot in the rotation. She also expresses displeasure that Zack Godley isn't being given a shot to try and reclaim his starter status, given the rather insignificant difference between starter Godley and reliever Godley.
