Description

“I am somebody who, like I think a lot of vets by the nature of the profession really struggles with being present in the here and now and not having 5 steps ahead planned. And that’s big things like internships and residencies and a career pathway. And it’s small things like the next placement I’m going to do or the next couple weeks what kind of work I have lined up for myself and how I want to take care of those things and COVID has really thrown all of that to the wind.”Our guest today is Bryanna Andrews. Bryanna is a veterinary student at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in Scotland. We first met at the 2020 Veterinary Leadership Conference where she was a member of a student panel put together by one of our co-hosts, Dr. Anna Reddish. Her perspectives on leadership and stories from her career so far are so fun and insightful. We are constantly in awe of the adaptability and positive attitude veterinary students are bringing to veterinary medicine, especially during a global pandemic! We had a blast chatting with Bryanna and can’t wait to share her journey with you! Remember we want to hear from you!
