Description

“When you put crabs in a bucket, none of them will escape the bucket and it’s because when one crab gets close to escaping the other crabs will pull it down. It’s kind of a good analogy for the ‘If I can’t have it then no one can’ attitude that people can get.”We have a very fun episode of My Veterinary Life Podcast today! We were joined by Kristina Williams a veterinary student at Colorado State University. We first met Kristina at the 2020 AVMA Veterinary Leadership Conference where she participated on a student panel talking about leadership experiences and perspectives. Her analogy with crabs caught everyone’s attention and is something we can all learn from! Throughout this episode she shares great insights on community and how she has overcome so many challenges. We also all bonded over our fascination with ‘wildlife’ or animals that are out in the wild and how we respond to them. This is a great episode that is sure to put a smile on your face and we can’t wait to share this journey with you!Remember we want to hear from you!
