While it was not in incredibly convincing fashion, the St. Louis Cardinals beat the Cincinnati Reds twice over the weekend. A series win is a series win, but the series against the Pirates needs to be much more convincing. St. Louis can take advantage of a Milwaukee off day Monday and the fact that the Brewers play the Mets this week by beating the Pirates.
