Coming off a solid 2021, Steven Matz has the potential to have a good 2022 with the Cardinals. His high ground ball rate should be a positive with the St. Louis defense. He will slot in nicely in the 3 spot in the rotation. While not the ace many wanted, Steven Matz fulfills a couple of needs that the Cardinals have.
