This week we're going through history and picking out some well known players that aren't necessarily associated with the A's, but nonetheless donned the white elephant. Tommy John didn't play for the A's for very long, and he didn't play particularly well when he got to Oakland, but his name is well known and he was overlapping with the club well before he got to Oakland in 1985.
