Alyaa is 23 years old and currently a native of Newport Beach, California. She was originally born in Malaysia. Her love for the game started at eight years old. Alyaa knew when she played her first tournament, she wanted to be a high-caliber professional golfer. In her early years as an amateur, she has had amazing opportunities to represent the United States in the Junior Ryder Cup and Junior Solheim Cup to play against the best players around the world. She also had amazing opportunities to compete in prestigious amateur and professional events including the Augusta National Women’s Amateur, USGA Women’s Amateur, Colorado CoBank Women’s Open, Women’s Australian Masters of the Amateur, and winning the Silver Medal for my home country in the 2019 SEA Games. Alyaa is currently on the LPGA Epson tour, her rookie year as a professional was 2020.
