Tim's Bio:  Tim has worked in the sports management business for nearly 20 years, specializing in golf event marketing and production. In the early stages of this career, he was employed almost exclusively on the professional tour side, with stints at the Futures (now Symetra) Tour, the LPGA Tour, and the PGA Tour’s World Golf Championships. He went on to work as General Manager for golf clubs in Nashville, Tennessee, and Orlando, Florida, and in 2009 he founded Sports Walkabouts LLC, to focus exclusively on creating quality competitive opportunities for avid amateurs. In that role, he co-directs the Long Beach Golf Festival, the country’s longest-running continuous annual series of high-level amateur tournaments. The circumstances that sparked his evolution from spectator-oriented sports work to participant-based event production were chronicled in his 2013 book, It’s Game Time Somewhere.

Kelly books guests & talent for Morning Drive and Golf Central and Breaking News. 2-time Producer for NBC Olympics and Jimmy Roberts (going back for a 3rd). Has been at Golf Channel for 10 years. Started in 2007 as a freelance PA.
