Description

Welcome to…. A Post US Open Recap edition of Hey, Great Shot!! On this week’s show, Hosts Alex Gruskin and Max Rothman play an extended game of “True or False” to debate which of the season’s end-of-year/post-Asian swing narratives they find most or least compelling. The guys sift through the many intriguing results of the #NextGenATP players on tour, argue about the perceived decline of the Wawrinka, Berdych, Tsonga generation, heap far too much praise on Novak Djokovic, and cover the rest of the developments on the ATP tour.

Production note: Both Gruskin and Rothman received point penalties this week, as their typical end-of-show Changeover Chat turned more into a Changeover Filibuster. The guys tried to quickly list their most improved players on tour, but the conversation naturally spiralled into an hour long debate. Stay tuned, as we will be releasing the segment as its own episode later on this week.

As always, the opinions in this podcast are our own, and we are happy to debate them with anyone kind enough to listen to or comment on our show. The podcast feed is now live, so please share our episodes with your friends and subscribe to our show on iTunes. A special shoutout to Super Producers Max Fliegner and Daniel Westhoff, the men behind the scenes who make these episodes possible. Thank you for listening, and we hope you enjoy our sixty-second episode!!
