Description

With the Republicans prepared to take full control of the Supreme Court with a 6-3 majority if Amy Coney Barrett is confirmed, Roe V. Wade and the right to a legal abortion is in serious jeopardy. What would this horrific rollback of women's rights and reproductive rights do to American society and to the health of millions of American women?

In this special episode, Michael shares a personal story from 1971, when a close friend of his had an unplanned pregnancy in their home state of Michigan, where abortion was illegal. He recounts their plan to drive to Buffalo, since New York was one of the first states to allow women to have this medical procedure legally. This true story originally appeared in Mike's autobiographical book of short stories, "Here Comes Trouble: Stories From My Life" and he shares it here on Rumble as a lesson for what may be coming back to America.
