Michael Moore describes an epiphany he had after witnessing throngs of New Yorkers cheering out their quarantined windows in tribute to all of the workers and medical professionals dealing with keeping the rest of us alive during the Covid-19 pandemic. Amidst the uncertainty how this will all end up, there are slivers of hope — and reasons to be optimistic about humanity and what we can accomplish after ridding ourselves of this (and, ahem, other) viruses.
