Host: Crystal Joseph.
Guest: Amina Karine Kermous.
An inquisitive and sparky young child, Amina spent her childhood in a migrant dense, small region of France.
Despite large exposure to the various cultures of the Muslim community, Islam remained a widely misunderstood and disdained concept amongst the non-muslims she knew.
As much as she possibly could, Amina tried to get to grips with her own religion.
While comfortable with the concept of creationism, gaping holes to some of the biggest questions of our existence and spiritual guidance proved too much for her logic to reconcile.
During her adolescence she eagerly seized the opportunity to travel to a nearby city in order to continue with her studies.
She embraced Islam there and describes her path of becoming Muslim as she navigated her way through intellectual, cultural, spiritual and emotional struggles while consciously striving to perfect her identity as a Muslim.
20 years later and now living in the United Kingdom, what does she cite as her life's biggest lessons?
