The Chicago Cubs dropped their second consecutive game and sixth and their last seven contests after a 3-1 loss in Atlanta Tuesday night. Ian Happ scored and the lone run for the Cubs, launching a homer off Braves pitcher Max Fried. Marcus Stroman had his best start as a Cubs starter going six innings, but it was not enough as the Cubs only got four hits on the night.
