Despite the debut of our new black sweaters, this game was not that exciting. It had it moments including JVR hitting Michael McLeod, which left him bleeding, but other than that this was a snooze fest. But, sometimes boring is good. Especially since the Devils were on a 4 game winless streak. If they needed a guaranteed win, doing it against a struggling Flyers team was the way to go.
