This week your Weebologists are joined by the Two Guys in a Warehouse podcast to start up another round of Pitches. This week Alex (@Professor_Otaku) and Dylan (@tgwpodcast) pitch is Rage of Bahamut produced by MAPPA, recently did Dororo, from 2014. This adventure fantasy has 12 episodes and a 7.40 on MAL so it definitely appears to be a potential slapper! This show is actually based off a card collection app game which I think is a first for us in the Anime space.Rising of the Shield hero, originally a light novel, aired in early 2019 in its anime adaptation by Kinema Citrus. Reception was fairly mixed as there are some fairly tough topics in the first couple of episodes but as the series went on it built nicely into a great shonen isekai adventure.
