A number of recent mass killings are merely a symptom of a society increasingly shaped by an endless stream of dehumanization of its citizenry. Our political process, mass entertainment and social interactions cast people as machines, monsters, violent killers and less than human, evil others. America may well be a dying society beyond anyone's ability to save it.
