Framber Valdez struggled with command in the second inning, but he was able to stay in the game for seven strong to save the bullpen. Yordan Alvarez and Michael Brantley both hit solo homers, but Jose Altuve hit the big one to give the Astros the lead to stay. The starters for the All-Star game were announced without any hoopla, but the rest of the team will be announced on Sunday.
