Mike discusses his lifelong relationship with the game, how his broadcasting career got started, and some of the less glamorous aspects of his job. He elaborates on how he’s been able to build relationships with players, and describes the steps he takes when preparing to call a match.


Mike also shares his thoughts on the talented crop of young Americans rising on the ATP tour. He explains why he believes each guy possesses the talent to crack the ATP top 100 ranking, and talks about what it was like to see the group progress through the challengers.
