Jamie Whitmore is a two-time Paralympian (2020, 2016) as a road cyclist and track cyclist. In 2016 at the Rio Paralymics, she won a gold medal (road race) and silver (track pursuit). She also competed in 2021 at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics where she placed 7th in road race and 8th in individual pursuit. As a World Championship participant, Whitmore has taken home 20 medals including 11 gold medals (2013, 2015, 2017). She was inducted into the XTERRA Hall of Fame in 2012 and won the ESPY Award for Best Female Athletes with a Disability in 2014. In 2008, Jamie overcame a cancer battle and became a mom to twin boys.
