The rollercoaster ride that has been Yoenis Cespedes' tenure with the New York Mets came to a close on Sunday, as he opted out of the season due to COVID-19 concerns. Cespedes carried the Mets to the World Series in 2015, and to back-to-back postseason appearances in 2016. Unfortunately the end of his time in New York was marred due to injuries.
