Description

In this week's episode, Brendan is joined by archeologist and anthropologist Dr. John Hoopes. Dr. John Hoopes is Professor of Anthropology at the University of Kansas and a Visiting Professor and Greenleaf Distinguished Chair of Latin American Studies at Tulane University. We discuss the prevalence of pseudoscience in archeology in such things as The Bible, hit shows like Ancient Aliens, and "doomsday" prophecies. We also discuss how these ideologies tend to rewrite and often times whitewash history.  Ask us questions in the comments below and we will answer them!
