The 2021/22 Ashes series is underway, as The Cricket Podcast boys get together to recap day one of the second Test between Australia and England. England struggled badly for runs in the first Test, so will need to make sure that they put up a score this time around to stay in the Test. Meanwhile, Australia, under Steve Smith, will be relying on their inexperienced bowling attack to produce the goods. 

At the end of play, the Australian bowling attack had fired, as Rory Burns failed again. And earlier on the Australian batters piled on the runs, with Labuschagne reaching 100 and Steve Smith adding 90 himself
