As was the case against the Penguins, the Rangers once again find themselves in a series hole as their superstar players such as Artemi Panarin, Chris Kreider and Mika Zibanejad fail to get anything going in a 2-0 Game 2 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes. Everything that made the Canes a scary opponent for the Rangers showed up in this game, including faceoffs being one-sided and the Canes’ penalty kill excelling. Breaking down the complete disaster that was the four-minute Ranger powerplay in the second period. Should the Rangers juggle the line combinations and/or move one or both of Alexis Lafreniere and Kaapo Kakko into the top six?
