Description

WNBA star Brittney Griner has been sentenced to nine years in a Russian prison for CBD oil and a vape pen. Jeff Ward says her “real” crime is being black, gay, American, and being in Russia at the start of the invasion of Ukraine. But is the Biden Administration doing enough to get her out? What are the options? Dennis Rodman (yes, the great diplomat) says he’s traveling to see his “buddy” Vlad Putin to get her out of prison. Assuming Dennis can’t make it happen, Jeff suggests a prisoner swap by using someone who hasn’t even been convicted, yet. He calls this swap “a win for both sides.” https://advertisecast.com/thejeffwardshow  Contact: sales@advertisecast.com

He’s been nominated as an Outstanding Young Texas Ex, and while a student at The University of Texas, he was a four-year Letterman in football, a football team captain, a member of the Athletics Director’s Academic Honor Roll, a three-time all-conference football player, and a two-time All-American football player. He’s among the top five all-time leading scorers at The University of Texas, and he’s the NCAA record holder for game-winning field goals. He was selected in the 1988 NFL Draft to play football professionally. The podcast market is oversaturated with NCAA and NFL football content but with Jeff, you get the educated perspective of someone who’s lived it.  Jeff has been appearing on both national news and local (Texas-based) news platforms to discuss sports, politics and economics for over 20 years. Jeff’s time at The University of Texas provided him with knowledge of worldwide economics, marketing strategies and the economics of sports, particularly with NCAA Football. With the NCAA always finding itself involved in hot-button issues, Jeff Ward explains what's going on behind the scenes.  Jeff takes a libertarian position when it comes to politics. Jeff is a Libertarian to maximize autonomy and freedom of politics. Jeff is aware that people are not going to agree with all of his opinions when it comes to politics, but he challenges you to look at other perspectives.  Being Libertarian displays a skepticism of authority and state power, but some Libertarians diverge on the scope of their opposition to existing systems of economics and systems of politics. Libertarian thinking highlights the dignity of each individual. The growing extension of dignity to people is one of the great libertarian achievements of the world.
