GUEST: Jonathan Whitcomb is a passionate investigator of reports of living pterosaurs throughout the world. I explored part of Umboi Island, Papua New Guinea, in 2004, interviewing many natives who had seen a large flying creature they call the  ropen. He's been investigating sightings of these flying creatures for sixteen years now, reported encounters with apparent living pterosaurs.   He is the author of Searching for Ropens and Living Pterosaurs in America.
