A shooting suspect is charged with seven counts of first-degree murder after allegedly committing a mass shooting at the Fourth of July parade in Highland Park, Illinois. Investigators say the suspect had been planning the attack for weeks and wore women’s clothing to conceal his identity. That, as the Mayor of Uvalde, Texas,  alleges a cover-up in the investigation into the Robb Elementary School massacre and calls on Governor Greg Abbot to intervene.
