Description

Federal law enforcement officials are investigating whether the gun used in a school shooting at Saugus High School in California was a homemade, unserialized gun known as a “ghost gun.” The popularity of ghost guns has increased with advances in technology and make up a third of guns recovered by the ATF. Alain Stephens, western correspondent at The Trace, joins us for more on these ghost guns.

Next, the fifth round of Democratic debates took place on Wednesday in the shadow of the impeachment hearings. Less than three months before voting starts taking place in Iowa and New Hampshire, Mayor Pete Buttigieg stood his ground, Joe Biden stumbled again, and Sen. Kamala Harris had a few good moments. Niall Stanage, White House columnist at The Hill, helps break it down.

Finally, while millennials have gotten a reputation for being useless and leeching off their parents, a BuzzFeed analysis of Census Bureau data shows that while a large number of Boomers help support their adult children, just as many millennials are financially supporting their parents, dispelling the notion that they are lazy and dependent. Vanessa Wong, reporter at BuzzFeed News, joins us with some stories of millennials supporting their parents.
