The Atlanta Braves had to settle for a split of their four-game series to begin the season. Ian Anderson was unable to escape trouble in a five-run fifth inning that sent the Reds over the Braves by a 6-3 score on Sunday.

Cincinnati rookie Hunter Greene made his major league debut, giving the Reds every reason to believe he could be a big part of the future. His triple-digit fastball and slider combination helped him punch out seven hitters.
