The FDA this week approved a controversial drug to help treat depression and it the first new antidepressant to be greenlit in decades. It is a nasal spray branded as Spravato made by Johnson and Johnson and is very similar to Ketamine. The benefit of this nasal spray is its fast acting impact on depression symptoms.
