Dear Steve and Shirley, My husband and I are in our 50s and all of our grown kids are finally out of the house. We had a great normal married life until recently when my husband became one hundred thousand dollars richer. He ended up being the beneficiary of a late family members life insurance policy, so he recently got a 100 thousand dollar check.
