Description

WWE presented a strong episode of SmackDown featuring the first television appearance for Becky Lynch in 15 months, while Raw was reportedly changed just before the show began after a full week of promotion. Host Adam Silverstein and co-host Chris Vannini take a deep dive into both shows as they again wonder how they are made by the same company. The guys open with The Main Event [10:35] as they break down Finn Balor and Edge stepping up as challengers to Roman Reigns, Bianca Belair and Liv Morgan looking strong as Lynch tried to explain her actions at SummerSlam, and a convoluted yet entertaining primary storyline on Raw involving Damian Priest, Drew McIntyre, Sheamus, Bobby Lashley, MVP and RK-Bro. "The Silver King" and "Vintage" then move into The Good, The Bad and The Ugly [49:10] where topics include Baron Corbin becoming "Happy," a disastrous Charlotte Flair vs. Nia Jax match, Rick Boogs' sustained push, Naomi's debut on SmackDown, horrendous booking for Karrion Kross and Doudrop, plus much more.
