Description
Leigh (@lshfoster) and Ellie (@elliebrigida) sit down with Alec Fletcher (@pogo.and.work), self-appointed “Josie and the Pussycats expert” and co-host of Gotham Arcade, to talk about why “Josie and the Pussycats” Should’ve Been Gay. Everyone in this movie is gay, we are not accepting criticism at this time. If you haven’t seen this movie, you are in for such a treat when you finally do. This movie is full of bops and from the very first second of turning on the movie it is instantly gay. This movie is the cultural equivalent of the Chart from The L Word, because there is just so much going on and so many connections to other things in the greater lez universe. There is no heterosexual explanation for this film. Josie and Val kiss within the first ten minutes. How are we supposed to believe they aren’t together? Alec and Leigh are convinced Josie is in a throuple with Val and Mel and Ellie is convinced Josie is exclusively dating Val. Let us know who you ship on our socials.
