Hurricane Florence continues to strengthen as 1 million people are told to flee the East Coast. Florence is expected to make landfall on the Carolina coastline later this week and may then stall out over land pounding the area with a potentially deadly storm surge, high winds, and dangerous inland flooding. Andrew Freedman, science editor for Axios and extreme weather expert joins us details on the huge storm and why it is so unique.

Next, the economy continues to fire on all cylinders and there are plenty of jobs to go around. It’s so good right now, the number of available jobs exceeded the number of job seekers by more than 650,000. There are about 6.9 million available jobs.
