Impossible to understand, quantify, or define. The sound of a billion billion voices is it's very essence. It's instinct; ancient. It's knowledge; immeasurable. It's hunger; insatiable. It drives the Tyranid swarm ever onward. It's will is unquestionable.
What is the Hive Mind? Where did it come from? How does it work? These are all questions that we don't know the answer to, and probably will never make the effort to learn.
