Joseph Azam is a lawyer who specializes in anti-corruption and ethics investigation, and one of the co-founders of Afghan Americans for Biden/Harris. Joseph details his experiences of Islamophobia in a post-9/11 America, the pressures poc’s face to play nice in corporate America and the exclusion of Central Asians from the Asian cultural dialogue. Joseph is also a refugee and shared his experiences in The Displaced, edited by Viet Thanh Nguyen, with proceeds to support the International Rescue Committee.
