The city of Stockton in CA will soon embark on a bold basic income program that will test what people do with free money.  Some residents will be given $500 a month with no strings attached. Annie Lowrey, author of a new book about universal basic income called Give People Money joins us to talk about the idea of giving citizens money to keep them from falling below the poverty line and how it could change the way we work.
