England were beaten by Italy at Wembley in the EURO 2020 final in heartbreaking fashion as the Azzuri won on penalties. Luke Shaw put England ahead early but the experienced Italians equalised and the trophy was decided via a shootout, where Rashford, Sancho and Saka all missed their spot kicks. Football didn't come home, but it did take England fans on a journey that will last a lifetime.
