Description
Derek Haynes AKA The Chocolate Botanist introduces us to his new project, “The Botanical Green Book”. In the year 1936, Victor Hugo Green wrote the first volume of “The Negro Traveler’s Green Book” which helped African-American travelers in the US find safe, and legal, places to stay, eat and safely travel. This new monthly video series with Derek is inspired by the Green Book, and he’s going to take us around the plant community introducing us to black botanists, horticulturists, herbalists and plant people.
