Description
United Plant Savers is launching the online Duke Ethnobotanical Archives to share with this global herbal village—and they need your help! Can you help them make it accessible to all? Learn more & DONATE today: CLICK HERE They’ve already raised more than $21,000 towards a $50,000 goal. And a super duper anonymous donor was inspired by the community’s generosity to date, and is going to match any new donations dollar-for-dollar from now until the end of the year to help fund the project. UpS’ goal is to provide greater access to plants in peril, creating opportunities for the public to learn about the medicinal plants this community holds dear. Their newly opened Archives are the biggest collection of Jim Duke’s prolific herbal writings, Peggy Duke’s incredible botanical drawings, and the couple’s notes, files, and herbarium—preserving their extensive research for the public to see in one central locale.
