On this episode we are joined by Dr. Patrick Key and AJ Alford (PharmD Candidate) to discuss the 2020 American Psychiatric Association Schizophrenia Guidelines. We review some of the symptoms that are seen with a diagnosis of schizophrenia. We then review some of the first and second generation antipsychotics that are used in the management of schizophrenia.
