After the Northfield shootout, the surviving members of the James-Younger gang flee the area. Posses scour the land in pursuit. The outlaws are plagued by terrible weather, rough terrain, and hundreds of manhunters. After a week on the run, the gang is forced to make a difficult choice. Some men will make it out of Minnesota and some won't.
