Early on the morning of July 23rd, 2000 a man stepped into the backyard of his waterfront home in Merritt Island, Florida and smelled death.  At first, he thought it was a decomposing manatee, but upon further investigation it was determined to be the bound body of Misty Morse --- a 22-year-old woman investigators who had been strangled to death, bound in rope and duct tape and callously dumped into the Indian River.  This week’s podcast is an audio version of the Court TV Original production Someone They Knew with Tamron Hall – a comprehensive look at the story of Misty Morse and how investigators used groundbreaking science to bring her killer to justice.
