In the conclusion of the season premiere, we find that all is not what it seemed with the death of King Edward II. Indeed, there is ample evidence that Edward II did not die in Berkeley Castle at all, but escaped to live out the remainder of his life as a hermit. So what is to be believed about Edward II's end?
