Courtrooms may be empty across the country, but in England trials have resumed and they are in the middle of a big one – Johnny Depp vs. The Sun.  In 2018, the British tabloid published an article about Depp which described him as a “wife-beater,” referring to allegations from Depp’s ex-wife, actress Amber Heard, that Depp was frequently violent with her when he was impaired by drugs and alcohol.  Johnny Depp denies those claims so he is suing the paper for damages.  Court TV’s Grace Wong has been tracking the case and has all of the details.  The trial highlights the fundamental differences between libel laws in the United States and the UK, but which country gets it right?  Defense lawyer Darryl Cohen is here to make his case for our neighbors across the Atlantic.  And Vinnie will explain how win or lose, this won’t end well for Johnny Depp.  Get the latest updates on CourtTV.com and catch Vinnie and the entire team live weeknights 8-11pm on Court TV Live.
