On the Thursday edition of The Best Of The Doug Gottlieb Show, Dan and Ryan talk about the Spurs losing the play-in game Wednesday night and how that franchise has fallen into the wasteland of the NBA.  Dan brings up an idea to make the play-in games even more interesting.  Dan and Ryan react to the news that Ben Simmons might be able to play midway through the first round of the series against the Celtics, and give their thoughts on the Nets in the east.  Doc Rivers says he is not a candidate for the Lakers job and takes issue with how Frank Vogel was treated, Ryan weighs on on that.  The crew gets into Madonna's romantic past.
