Description
“ONE PLAYER ONLY”
In the third of our current run of Castlevania series podcasts, we arrive at the 1988 arcade game, Haunted Castle. Although the title began its development as an unrelated action horror game, Konami saw the potential of cashing in on the success of the Famicom and MSX series, and so released it as Akumaj? Dracula. Leon, Michiel, Tony, returning guest (and Haunted Castle tatsujin) Ben Cartlidge reflect upon this widely derided work, as well as looking in depth at the varied experiences offered by the various ROM sets.
