Description
This show marks a significant event in the band's history - the last show with Keith and Donna in the group. It takes place on February 17, 1979 in Oakland. By this time, Keith's contributions had been steadily decreasing and while Donna was still, in my opinion, adding to the sound, it was clear that a change was going to have to happen. This first set features the return of 'Greatest Story Ever Told' from a five year absence, as well as that last 'Passenger' with Donna (to my ears it never sounded right without her). 'Don't Ease' marks a return appearance as does 'High Time' as the band was mixing up the setlist which had grown a bit stale..The closing 'Lazy Lightin'>Supplication' is a clear highlight here....
